I have a lot of fond memories of Pete. I grew up shooting, fishing and four-wheeling with Pete and my dad. He was a good friend to my dad and my whole family. I just heard of his passing on Thanksgiving. Gary and Lisa, I am sorry for your loss. I will always have many fond memories of your dad.

Uncle Pete always had a ready smile, a conspiratorial wink or two, and a great outlook on life. I will remember his gentle teasing, his sense of family, his love for his children and nieces and nephews. Lisa and Gary, my heart goes out to you. I know how much you will miss your Dad. We'll miss him, too.

Jer will always be remembered as a guy with a heart as big as his smile and always ready to lend a helping hand while asking nothing in return.
Jer taught me that the most direct route is not always the best and there is a lot to discover on the backroads.
He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and lived in the moment.
Jerry will be missed greatly by all who had the good fortune to be part of his life.

I know we will all feel the great loss from Uncle Pete's passing. We can take comfort in the fact that he is in a better place with all of the family that has gone before us and will be waiting for us when our time arrives. I will miss him very much.

What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more hug, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories that we will never forget. I will always remember you and smile, Pete.
