Not sure what to say?

So sorry to find this. Gerry and I were "poops" together as pledges to Delta Sigma Phi in the fall of 1961and roommates that year. Good friend for many years as we observed each other´s careers develop. Very sad to lose him.

Matt and Andrew, Dick and I are sorry we were not able to come to your dad's memorial last week as we had planned. Rick was in a serious auto accident and we were at the hospital. Your dad and mom were the most wonderful people and it was an honor to know them. You both have taken on their generous qualities. We are praying for comfort for you both. Sincere condolences from the Judson family, Dick, Linda, Rick and Julie,

Jerry was a mentor, role model and friend. Once I was asked to name a real-life hero, and Jerry Wing was the name that came to mind. He was a man of integrity, dedicated to his profession, school district, community and staff. I believe Jerry did more to make Bedford a thriving community than any other single individual, and his influence has, and will continue to be felt for generations. As one of the most respected community educators in Michigan, Jerry also made positive impacts on...

Great teacher and coach

Dear Matt, Drew, and family-- Our most sincere and heartfelt condolences to you on the passing of your dad, Jerry. He was a great educator, excellent leader, and wonderful colleague. Putting the educational interests of children and community first in his many successful leadership roles in Monroe County was his guiding principle. Whether he was building an award-winning Community Education program at Bedford, or developing innovative initiatives for educational technology in Monroe...

My deepest condolences to Jerry's family. Jerry was a wonderful and inspiring superintendent and I learned a lot from him during the short time I worked with him at Monroe County ISD. Jerry alway put students first and expected every ISD employee to do the same. My thoughts are with Jerry's family at this time. Betsy Taylor

Dear Matt, Drew and family, Carol and I were deeply saddened to hear of Jerry's passing. He was a very influential person in my life. Jerry was a very humble person who served his community as a true public servant should. I first met Jerry when he became the Whiteford Schools Superintendent and for the next 20 years we worked closely together as he became the Superintendent at the Monroe County I.S.D. Many of the programs he championed are still serving the children and youth of Monroe...
