Not sure what to say?

Dean: I just found out about your father. I have fond memories of growing up with you, Scott and your parents. From cub scouts and touring the aircraft carrier, to little league, and high school sports - your parents were always supporters of our efforts. He always took time to say hello when he substituted at Granite Bay High School. He will always be remembered.

My heart goes out to the family. I was a student of both, and must say that I learned more from Gerald and have more memories of him as my teacher than I have of all my school years. He made learning very fun for me. He will be missed.

Just found out about it. Sorry for your loss, Dean.

Jerry was a friend and a big supporter for my election efforts. I got to know him better when he served with me on the Sierra View Land Board. His knowledge about real estate and his committment to do what was right, as a board member, impressed me. God bless him. John and Jean Reinking

I loved my old high school teacher Mr.Winter, he was in a class by all by himself. sometimes in class i would wonder why is such a well educated man teaching here ? Then suddenly he'd walk by and untie my shoelace. cause he would catch me daydreaming ,I 'd just smile at him and think , im glad he is here. He talked to us often in four different languages, I truely loved that. He was the best teacher I ever had, And to his Family I am sorry for your loss , and share in your sorrow.. Good ol...

Dear Winter Family,
So sorry to hear about the passing of Gerald. Gerald was a patient at the Dr Office where I work. He was a wonderful man, always so sweet. I always looked forward to seeing him at his visits. I will always remember him and his smiling face.

Mr. Winter went beyond the rule books to make sure those who did not were able to graduate just for trying. He made a difference to many students who did not even realize. He always carried his Navy stance and a sense of humor.

Just wanted to say, what a lovely man he was and a very great teacher. He was my teacher at Lincoln High School. I have fond memories and respect for him.
