Not sure what to say?

Just looking at a framed Christmas card pen and ink lithograph I got from Professor Wise back in 1972 framing his young daughters. He had good influences on me and many other in those turbulent days. I thank him for his friendship and nurturing. Taking the time to be grateful for his many works in my collection of fine art. So sorry to hear of his passing.

Thinking of you Pat. Sending all my love. It´s been a year now. Does it seem like it? I am sure just the idea of moving on without Jerry seems impossible. I hope that you and family are coping well! I believe Jerry was responsible for getting me into Wilson Campus after I quit high school! Forever grateful to him. [email protected]

I´m deeply saddened to hear of this loss so late, much love to all of Gerry´s family. I owe Gerry a great debt for being one of the most positive and influential people in my life during a very difficult time. His role as a teacher and more importantly friend changed the arc of my life for the better. I´ll never forget our conversations and his contagious demeanor. Rest In Peace Gerry, you were truly one of a kind.

Jerry was my art teacher at Mankato State and we became embroiled in many subversive and jolly enterprises; he was one of a kind! Condolences from me and my brother, Mark!

Gerry was a role model for me in high school. He was super popular with other students and teachers and an all county basketball player . His family was a pillar of the community and they supported our high school every way they could.I lost track of where Gerry moved and later what he was doing, but is abundantly clear he lived his life well. M y condolences to you Patricia as God called one of his servants home.

He will be missed by so many. His students loved him and he made a definite influence on their lives. He was the perfect example of inspiration spreading into his work and his teaching. He was thoughtful, humble, and kind. What a wonderful example of a life dedicated to others. My heart goes out to his family and those he left behind.

I am so sorry to hear of this. Gerry was my professor at Westfield State years ago. I learned so much from him. I loved when he would show us his work. He was always so kind to us. I´ve thought of him fondly over the years. He was a tremendous artist. Very sorry for your loss.
