Not sure what to say?

To Jerry´s family , it has been 9 years today since his passing. His graduating class of 1961 at O´Dea HS had a Christmas party this week and I brought his name up as one of our departed. As before, talking about Jerry put a smile on his classmates faces. Mike Brown

As I have said before on Legacy, Jerry was a great guy at ODea HS who played football and ran the hurdles and sprints in track. We both knew grades were more important to some than us and talked more about what we wanted to be instead of a grade(s) Always practical, Jerry was a "soulmate" before that phrase was even used.......see you again someday Jerry. Mike Brown

I previously said things about Jerry but didn’t mention he was one of the few Asian kids in our class at O’Dea from 1957-1961. I asked him if he was raised Catholic and he never really explained. I tried to made it a point to be one of his best friends........most of the white kids at O’Dea then came from all over and we didn’t know many Asian kids. We wanted to change that and we did. RIP Jerry.

Great friend, great memories.

Jerry was the manager of the first branch I worked at as a management trainee at Sea-First. A man of deep concern for his customers and pride in his work. He taught me much.

Jerry was a classmate of mine at O'Dea high school when I first met him in 1957. He was also a teammate on the track team. I can't ever remembering him saying a harsh word about anybody. Nobody ever said a harsh word about Jerry either. As a banker, he used to entertain clients at his favorite restaurant, Little Tokyo in Seattle. He took me there for lunch once and EVERY person working there greeted him. Obviously a much respected man.
He leaves me with the memory of a life lived...

I was one of many who worked for Jerry, starting my first loan officer assignment working for Jerry at the International Branch. Jerry was a very smart manager who had great depth of knowledge of the community and all the people who made a difference there. I learned a lot working for Jerry and have told many about what a great experience I had working with him in the ID. He was a kind, quiet and very thoughtful manager to all, and I am so sorry he has left us.
