I have many lovely memories of your mother, who was so very dear to me, especially after the death of my own dear mother Rita. My heart and prayers are with you. My own Mom died in 2006, so I know that Gerry and Mildred are sharing old memories from all the years at Catholic. Mom always thought so much of your mother.

So sorry to hear about Aunt Gerry, ( Aunt Ju-Ju). I remember waving many days to her, when we walked home from school by the house. She also was so sweet when John and I married ( 25 years ago) and loved getting post cards from us as we traveled. I will fondly remember the twinkle in her eye, and know she is with George now. Mom just told me that you have lost your dear mother. I am so sorry. I have great memories of her from my years at Roanoke Catholic, and also from the times that Mom and I would visit with her at Our Lady of the Valley. She was such a fun-loving lady and a good friend! Please know that you are all in my prayers at this time.

Georganne and Family,
Gerri was a special person to all of us at Our Lady of the Valley. She was part of our family here and she touched many hearts. She will definitely be missed. Her smiling face and laughter will stay in our memories forever.
