Dr. Dews was my English teacher at Pearl C. Anderson Junior High School. She had a profound impact on me as a student. She was an awesome teacher, and even in the 9th grade, I knew how powerful her teaching would prove to be in my life. God bless you, Dr. Dews! God bless your family as well!

My brother and I met Dr. Dews as a students in Charles Rice. I was a 4th grader and he was just starting Kindergarten. You can tell she was an administrator who cared about her students and you could instantly feel it whether you were faculty, staff, or students. She took the time to let you know that everyone could and should strive to be the best you could be.
There is no sorrow that heaven can't heal. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
