Geraldine "Gerri" Foster

Gerri - so many things remind me of you now that you´re gone. We met when Gerri came to Darby´s Place to meet my cats and ended up adopting Alice (renamed Simone). It was an instant friendship. She adopted three more cats from me and was fostering another one when she died. She was my flea market partner and a friend that I valued. You´re missed so much. Leslie and the cats (Kiwi, Dillon, and Gnocchi are doing ok - they understand why you´re gone).

Gerri , You were one of a kind. The kind we were proud to call our friend. For you, life was very simple. Everything was black or white. Not many shades of grey. My husband is very similar. I think that is why you had such a special relationship. Well, that and the treats you would save for him with your trademark hearts .. Haha... God bless Kristen. She is trying to carry on your tradition but it just isn't the same as having you sitting at your same seat at your same table at the Senior...

Gerri, You will be missed. Our morning coffee chat sessions made my day. The Thurmont Senior Center will miss you as well. You will never know just how much you helped me. Fly high my friend. I see you in the cardinals that come visit me.

Gerri will be missed at the Thurmont Senior Center....Table one will not be the same. Beneath that tough exterior beat a heart of gold. I enjoyed all our laughs and shopping trips my friend.
