Geraldine Eliza Gray “Dutchie”, age 87 of Main Street in Farmington, died on Sunday May 7, 2006 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester.

Born March 26, 1919 in Farmington, daughter of the late Henry H. and Clara (LeClair) Worster, she was a lifelong resident of Farmington.

She had been a shoeworker at the former H.O. Rondeau Shoe Co. in Farmington.

Widow of the late Wilton Charles, who died in 1958, she was also widow of the late Charles Gray, who died in 1983.

Dutchie was a special aunt to generations of nieces and nephews. She was a wonderful homemaker and a dedicated, compassionate caregiver to her late parents. She enjoyed shopping, going out to eat, loved animals, flowers, gardening and was a wonderful cook.

She was a kind, thoughtful person, who brought much happiness to the lives she touched. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed.

Survivors include her sister in law: Mae Worster of New Durham, nephews: Arvard & wife Caroline Worster of Farmington, Carl & wife Helen Worster, Jr. of Sacramento, CA and Carlton & wife Cheryl Worster of New Durham, nieces: Irene & husband Chuck Land of Farmington, Linda Wilkinson of Wakefield, Lorraine & husband Martin York of Alton and Lucille Crawford of Wolfeboro. She was predeceased by 5 brothers: Richard, Wilfred, Robert, Carl Sr. and George Worster, a sister: Pauline Willey and a nephew: Kendall Willey.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday May 11, 2006 at 2:00 pm at Peaslee Funeral Home 24 Central Street in Farmington, NH, with Brad Trafton, officiating. The calling hour is prior to the service from 1-2 pm. Interment will be at a later date at Pine Grove Cemetery in Farmington.
