Dear Cheryl and family:

Returning from a long trip I called to wish Geri a Happy Birthday. I talked to Geri berore leaving on my trip and she said Cheryl was in Dallas working. When I called today, Cheryl answered the phone and told me the sad news about Geri. I admired Geri with her cheerful attitude and beautiful smile. Geri is now in peace. I will miss her terribly but will remember all the good times Geri, Ed, Cecil and I had together. God bless...

Dear Cheryl - As I read over your Mom's obituary, I'm struck with how parallel our parents' life journeys have been. That was a great generation! I'm glad that we could connect by phone, and I'll be holding you and your family in my heart. - Karen

Dear Mrs. Cox,

I am happy to have met you at the ALERT Cadet Banquet back in January 2009, when you attended with your sister, Mrs. Hatch. Dear Greg, Laura, John, and Elizabeth,

We love you and are delighted to know you! We have been praying for each of you and asking the Lord to sustain you as you walk through this week, month, and year of a "new normal" without your Momma, mother-in-law, & Grandma. When my Daddy went home to be with his Heavenly Father, my emotions varied from weeping for my temporary loss to rejoicing that Daddy no longer suffered from the grip of cancer. God is always good. You know the peace...

Cheryl; Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time. I am so glad you were with you mom these past months, and hope you will find peace in your faith. All of us in your choir at NPC hope you know that we are here for you. In Christ, Beverly Haller

Cheryl, you and your family are in my prayers--for peace in your hearts and the consolation of the Holy Spirit as you grieve your mom's passing. You loved her so well! Know that our Savior Jesus is at your side and holds you close, and be comforted.

Geri will be missed by her friends in Lovers Lane Sanctuary Choir. I remember her compassion in helping those in need.

I wish you much peace at this stressful time.

May you find comfort in knowing God cares deeply for you and sees your suffering. He purposes to "revive the heart of the ones being crushed." (Isaiah 57:15)
