Howe, Geraldine R., Sunday, June 27, 2010. Much loved wife of James F. Howe, Jr. for 58 years. Loving mother of James F. Howe, III who died in 2006, Nancy Garner (James) and Peter Howe (Kim). Grandmother of Brian, Michael and Brandon Garner and Alex, Madison and Hailey Howe. She was the daughter of Leone and Charles Falcome of Dearborn, MI, and the sister of Dolores Gibson of Livonia, MI, all of whom pre-deceased her. Geri graduated from Wayne State University and taught primary education at Lindbergh School in Dearborn, MI until the birth of James III. She later substitute taught in the Birmingham School district. The role that defined her, however, was that of the consummate homemaker. There was no better wife or mother. She and her family lived for a time in Livonia, MI and also in Beverly Hills, MI. They moved to Independence Township, MI when James retired from Ford Motor Company. The family also lived in Geelong, Australia and in Lima, Peru. Her remains will be cremated and interred at Roseland Park Cemetery in Berkley, MI . A memorial service will be held at St. Daniel Catholic Church, Clarkston, Michigan on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at 10:00 AM with a luncheon after…The family requests that memorial donations be sent to The Huntington Disease Society of America, Michigan Chapter at 1174 James Savage Road, Midland, MI 48640-5651. online guestbook www.wintfuneralhome.com

My siblings and I are very sorry we never got to know Geraldine. We met for the first time (that I can remember) at Aunt Marie Falcone's funeral. Our condolences to the family.
