its new years day and my soul still aches and i miss you dearly!!i know you are happy and in a place were i can only dream to go but yet it hurts consistantly!! the pain wont quit and neither shall i!! until its my time i will miss you!! your love lives forever!! through you children grandchildren and greatgrand babies!! i love you!!

A thousand words couldn't capture the depth of my love for my grandmother. She truly was a virtuous woman. Every day of her life was dedicated to serving the Lord, and others. This was evidenced in the way she loved her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sisters, brothers, and friends. Dr. Hughey will always be in my heart. The times we would come on the porch and she would talk to us. She looked out for us as we walked past her house. I shall forever miss her.
