Not sure what to say?

It was with great sadness of learning of the passing of Geraldine. I will never forget her smile and the good conversations we had at the Sports Locker. She was one a kind. Sincere, honest, and always ready to begin her next coaching venture. I´m am sure she is in heaven coaching one of Gods teams. I was lucky to have her as one of our best customer, but I also considered her a friend! May she rest in peace! Sincerely Tom Palumbo

Coach Lacney, was truly a remarkable and compassionate lady. You felt her love and affection in the classroom, on the court, or wherever she was. She was one of the inspirations that helped me find my passion as an educator and as a coach. I have so many great memories of our travels to North Collins for an October volleyball match or going out and grabbing a cola from the Dene-mobile. The world will miss you coach. Love you a lot. Carl "Duke" Wallin

To Frank and Linda Harrington, to Jerry and Kim Harrington and their families. In loving memory of our friend Dene. Thanking her for all the years of kindness she gave to Terry and i. She was so good to us, especially when Terry got his heart transplant. May you rest in peace Dene. May your family and friends cherish their memories to help heal the pain in your hearts .

Coach Lacney was truly a magnificent lady. She was one of the first people to make me feel at home when I first started working at ALCS. She always took the time to greet me as ahe passed through the hallways and she was truly a wonderful lady. Rest easy now, coach.

great memories beautiful person. RIP coach so sorry to miss memorial

I met Geraldine as an opposing coach at West Valkey. It was my first coaching/teaching position. What struck me the most was her kindness and respect she showed to her athletes and to the athletes and coaches from the opposing teams. She was a true competitor and was always an advocate for female athletes. The students, parents and community of Limestone have lost a tremendous ambassador. She always represented Limestone in a positive light. I was happy to have coached against her. Her...

RIP Geraldine.... I greatly admired how kind you were to people you came in contact with, including myself. I was honored to be with you as the first females on the ALCS Athletic Wall of Fame. You were a kind, compassionate person whose love of athletics spanned across all generations of people you met. Thank you for always being very kind to my children. We are all better people for knowing you. Take care and God Bless Michele Rouleau Trietley and family

The gals of the Bradford Ladies Softball league will always remember Dene with great fondness and respect. A great competitor, athlete, and a gal who demonstrated great sportsmanship, friendship and humility. I had the privilege of being one of her catchers in numerous tournaments. She had a renowned wind mill fast pitch so easy to catch ... put the glove over the plate and the ball was there stinging your hand. I will also always appreciate the great kindness and friendship she showed my...
