Geraldine Anne Maurovich

Geraldine Anne (McLaughlin) Maurovich passed into her Saviors arms on Wednesday, 5 July, 2023 at the Henry Mayo Newhall hospital, after a long battle with cancer.

Geraldine was born on 20 January, 1944 to the late John and Margaret (Kallman) McLaughlin, in New York City, New York. There she attended primary and secondary school. It was also where she met her sweetheart of 65 years, Rudolph (Rudy) Maurovich. They were married on 4 May 1963 in New York. Early in their marriage they moved to California and settled in Santa Clarita in 1968. She became a secretary at Canyon High School where she continued to work until she retired. She is survived by her adoring husband Rudolph (Rudy) Maurovich and her sister-in-law, Nancy McLaughlin; loving nieces Christine (Eric) Leishman, Kathleen (Kurt) Knurr, and Heather (Jeff) Joseph. She is also survived by her nephew, Shawn (Susan) McLaughlin. Geraldine was predeceased by her parents and her only brother Michael McLaughlin.
