The family of Mrs. Geraldine,
I was so sad to hear of your Mother's homegoing. She were so speical and loved all of the children at Augusta Evans School. I can hardly sleep at night for thinking of all of the nice things that she did for us.
My teachers have told me that she are in a better place and that gives me peace.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
