She was married to Scranton. Friends may pay their respects at the McGoff-Hughes Funeral Home Inc. 1401 Capouse Ave. Scranton from 4 to 6 p.m. As per Gerreyâs wishes the rosary will be said at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Gerreyâs memory to Hospice of the Sacred Heart 100 William St. Dunmore PA 18510; or Neighborhood Hospice 400 E. Marshall St. West Chester PA 19380.

I am a hospice volunteer who had the privilege of visiting Gerrey. Even though there wasn't time for too many visits, we bonded quickly. She shared so much especially about how much she loved her family. Even though she wasn't feeling well she still laughed so much during our visits which was so inspiring to me. She was a sweetheart and I'm so glad I was able to know her even though it was briefly.
