Geraldine "Geri" Sanchez, surrounded by her loving family, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 23, 2017. Geri's, strong love for her family and dear friends was surpassed only by her love and faith in our Heavenly Father, Jehovah. This love moved her to devote most of her life to the voluntary, full time service of sharing Bible truths with others. God's promise, in the Bible, of a resurrection of those fallen asleep in death (John 5:28,29) and the restoration of a Paradise Earth (Isaiah 35:1,2) was Geri's confident hope and comfort at all times (Rev. 21:4,5).
All who knew Geri are dearly missing her. She is especially missed by her adoring husband, Ricardo, her children Eunice, Jabin, his wife Lorin, Miriam & Marc as well as her mother, Piedad, her siblings, Gloria, Ralph, Joann & Arturo. She is cherished as a wonderful, beloved grandma by her five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 3 PM Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1110 Burke Road, Las Cruces.
Entrusted to the care of Baca's Funeral Home of Las Cruces and Sunset Crematory, 300 E. Boutz Road, 527-2222. For online condolences logon to www.bacasfuneralchapelslascruces.com

Sanchez Family,

My deepest condolences to your family, I was saddened to hear of Geraldine's passing, I know she is in the Lord's hands now and suffering no more. We will miss her dearly. She was a very nice and caring person. I met her and from there on if she was at Fairacres Elementary school, she made it a point to come and say hello to me and ask me how I was doing. I will miss her kindness and friendlyness. May God give you the strength to endure your loss. God bless you all.

Geri was a very special person. It was her love for Jehovah that made her so loving. When I first moved to Las Cruces she became more than a good friend, but truly my sister. My heart goes out to her whole family.
