Geraldine "Oma" Schlecht

I am so sorry to hear about Oma's passing. She was always really nice to me, and I have often wished I could channel her ability to acknowledge people's problems without amplifying them. I remember when I had a work-related issue and she sent me a note with $10 enclosed, saying that she realized I was sad about it and hoped a manicure would cheer me up. It was an absolutely perfect way to let me know that she was in my corner. May her memory be for a blessing.
