TREIGER, Geraldine M. ? Of Flint, age 92, died Sunday, January 12, 2014 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Geraldine's grandson, Pastor Nicholas Worden officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice.
Visitation 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Geraldine was born in Flint, Michigan on December 12, 1921.
Geraldine enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving are five children, Joan Darby of Flint,
Paula Porritt of Flint,
Paul and wife Tara Treiger of South Branch, MI,
Kenneth and wife Pamela Treiger of Flint,
Debra and husband Roger St.Onge of Cheboygan, MI;
17 grandchildren;
many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren;
brother, Robert Fink of Lincoln, MI;
sister, Elaine Suski of Walnut Creek, CA;
several nieces, nephews and special friend, Molly Mora of Flint.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul B. Treiger, in 1997.
Paula, Paul, Ken, Deb, and Joan, I just received a letter from Molly on the loss of your mother. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Your mother was a great friend to my mom for all of her years.
