Geraldine Van Dorn

Geraldine Van Dorn, 84, of Springdale, died July 4, 2012 at her home. She was born January 18, 1928 in Greenwood, Arkansas to Charles Henry (Bud) and Jewell Craig Hampton. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was a member of the American Legion Auxillary and she enjoyed the time she spent with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank L. Van Dorn and one sister, Mary Alice Hampton. Survivors include one son, Charles "Chuck" Rexford and wife Sharon of Springdale; one daughter, Pricilla Chase of Fayetteville; three grandchildren, Charlene and Timothy Kuyrkendall of Haward, California, Daniel and Tammy Rexford of Benton, Louisiana and Ronald Rexford of Springdale and five great grandchildren. Graveside services will be Monday, July 9, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Friendship Cemetery with Rev. Randall Galloway officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2 to 4pm at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
