I share great memories of our cousin Geraldine from her visits to my grandmother's (her aunt) home. Beautiful gift of a person.

To the family of Geraldine, please know that you have my deepest sympathy. When Geraldine was at Little Zion in Gerttown I was a member of the choir there and she often had me to sing the reoordings of Albetina Walker, Shirley Caesar and believe it or not the Williams Brothers. I would say to her that Albertina's songs were hard to do and she would say "ok but you can do it." She was an inspiration to me and I was sad to hear of her homegoing. Yes, there is a great choir in Heaven...

Grief can be so hard during the holidays, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one this holiday season.

To the Family--May your hearts be filled with beautiful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. I thank God to have had this Great Woman of God pass my way. It was truly a blessing to have known and loved Sis. Washington.

It saddens me to just find out that my godmother has gone on to heaven. I feel really bad that I didn't know and don't know anyone who could have notified me. The last time I saw my nanny was at my mother's (the late Marve Wright's) funeral. My daughter and I went to Carrollton on Novemeber 15th and I was telling her stories of my godmother and how one of my nanny's favorite restaurant's was the Five Happiness. I am going to miss her, she lived a good life and had a good fight!
