I loved Aunt Gerry. She always seemed so exotic to me. I can't pinpoint exactly what it was about her. Maybe it was that she always had a calm even temperament with that little Mona Lisa smile. She always had the same demeanor when something crazy was happening or when she was making a joke or wry observation. One of my favorite people.
