Not sure what to say?

I miss Gerry ! She was a dear friend to our mom. Gerry was such a kind nurturing aunt like friend after our mom passed. Love you Forever- Thinking of You & your Family!

I think of Gerry on a daily basis. I came into her life at a tough time . The light that she had within shown through the struggles she faced. The beauty I witnessed with the love shared between her and her husband Ernst was truly amazing and something I attempt to model in my own life and relationships. They were quite a couple . I only hope I was able to bring some comfort to them both during the hard times. I truly won´t ever forget Ernie and Gerry . They touched my life in such a profound...

Remembering Loving & lovely Gerry. She was so much FuN, creative & talented, a wonderful hostess, & dearly missed- Thinking of Gerry, her Ernie & family.

Remembering Dearest Gerry today and often! I loved Gerrys' laugh and just watching her gracefully move about. She made and served beautiful and delicious foods to share. Her big heart Blessed us all with love and kindness. My Deep Sympathy to Ernie and all of her family. Missing you Gerry- Much love always. Sibylle

I just learned about Gerry’ crossing over & am so very sorry! Gerry was such an amazing woman! She exuded kindness, warmth, love, & beauty- When our mother passed away Gerry made the most beautiful elegant pastry wrapped ham dish. Her dish was such a hit with all! She will be dearly missed! I will always keep a Special place in my Heart for Gerry; like a love fairy - Sending our Deep Sympathy to Ernie & all the family- Sibylle, Madeleine, & Tommy DeCarlo

My brothers, Jim and Tim O'Connor have written most beautifully the memories and stories of your mom and wife, Ernie, that it is hard to top! My memories of your mom, from my 15yr old mind, was that she was so cool. She always wanted to know what I thought about things and was always teaching me. I considered her like a friend. Gerry always took time for you, no matter the age, and held your face with her eyes. You were important.
Our parents, Joe and Betty O'Connor, loved and respected...

Ernie and Zobel Family

Timmy saw this the other day.... and shared it with us. So sorry for your loss...
..your mom ( Gerry) was one of the kindest persons from my childhood on west Oakland I can remember - and will always remember.

I remembered your family and was so sad when you moved back home to the east coast.

To this day I can hear her say. howyadoinjim like it was one word in a strange language - my mom had to explain to me what accents...

Gerry and family moved into our plain middle class neighborhood in Bay Village Ohio in the late 60s. But Gerry's bright positive light of love changed all of us. Gerry cared for all of us neighbor kids. She made us laugh and played games with the entire group of small children. I distinctly remember one Halloween in which she told us (we were 9-10 years old) scary stories and made us cookies. Gerry was full of energy and love.
My first experience in feeding the homeless was due...

Gerry was the first nursery school teacher for all four of my children. She was just wonderful - always nurturing to the children and the parents. She had such common-sense on handling and encouraging the children and the parents. The projects were great. I also was a volunteer substitute and worked in Gerry's class on many occasions over the years. She was such a love. My husband and I remember her fondly and lovingly. She was a very special person who touched many lives. Our...
