Not sure what to say?

Dear Uncle Jerry:
I cannot believe I am writing this to you – just like I cannot believe you are gone from us.
You have to know how much I loved you – and continue to. I put on your flowers “Beloved Uncle and Buddy” because that’s how I felt about you.
You will remain in my heart forever – at every Yankee game, every time I talk about the Civil War or World War II or movies that we loved.
And every time I laugh – I will think of you.
And I will watch over...

I met "Uncle Jerry" briefly last year at Christmas time at Barbara and Marion's home. But i have heard so many heartwarming stories .. it's as if i knew him well. Keep the memories warm in your heart - and he will always be there. God Bless.

Our family and Jerry's family shared a common bond.... displaced Jerseyites. We shared birthdays, holidays, celebrations and troubles together. Jerry set an example of caring for his friends and family that will remain among us all.

I've only known Uncle Jerry for 7yrs now but he made me feel as if I were a part of his family since birth. I will miss him tremendously. The holidays will not be the same without him.

Today was there was a large void in my world where Jerry use to be. I spoke with him at least twice a day over the past few months and last week met him in person to walk two of the jobs we had just completed. Over lunch, he spoke of his family and how proud he was of his children. Jerry was always positive and it was a pleasure working with him. He will be greatly missed by all.

Judy and family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you all in this time of need. Being someone that was able to talk and laugh with him on a daily (M-F 7am to 6pm)basis, it was a hard day at work knowing we would not be able to hear "K babe" one last time.
No matter what was happening on the job, Jerry always had a smirk on his face and a word of some sort for all.
Jerry always had time for anyone. I am glad he chose to spend some of that time with us at Famous Footwear. There...

To the Avoglia Family,
We were all graced to know Jerry. He was such a dynamic personality and a true family man! May God bless you with strength during this very difficult time.

Lippis

Jerry was my father, my big brother and most of all my friend. I love him dearly for all the joy he brought in everything he did. I will always carry a piece of Jerry with me in my heart.

To The Family of Jerry Avoglia:
Please accept our heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your love one Jerry. Although we didn't know Jerry, we knew of him through Barbara and the many delightful stories she told of him and the family. We know he was the Rock of the Family.
Our prayers are with you all.
