Gerard "Jerry" Ballanco M.D.

Jerry will always be a favorite memory for me. I helped him get the ' Vegecator' program together for Master Gardeners. Jerry was a wealth of knowledge and beacon of light whenever he smiled.

Dr. Ballanco was my doctor for several years as a kid. During that time I got to see "Dr. B" for all his kindness, commitment to care and overall affability. You couldn't ask for a better doctor/human being. He knew I played the bagpipes and would always ask me to play at his funeral, and I am so sad to hear of his passing so late. He will be sorely missed by everyone who ever knew him. I'll be playing Amazing Grace just for you Dr. B.

Deepest condolences to Dr. Ballanco's family. Dr. Ballanco was my sons' pediatrician when he was with the Rothschild Pediatric Group. He was always attentive, kind and patient and I always appreciated him and the services he provided. May his soul rest in heavenly peace.

Such wonderful times pondering the world, laughing with abandon, fishing in both Alaska and Louisiana and creating life long memories of a good, good man of wit and wisdom.

Dr. Ballanco took care of my son many years ago when he was with Rothschild pediatric group. He was concerned with my husband´s and my well-being as well as our son. I will always remember his kindness.

I enjoyed time together in the Vegucators Program through Master Gardeners. Gerry generously shared his Botanical knowledge with us and we are forever grateful.

As a fellow Master Gardener, I offer my sincerest condolences to the family & personal friends of Jerry. Eternal rest, grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
