Not sure what to say?

No one will ever know the affect Gerry had on my life. My childhood was never the same after meeting him and it will never be the same through my adulthood.

God bless you, Gerard. You are well-loved by those of us who remain for a while in exile, and you will be well-loved forever, just as you loved life here on Earth.

I ask the Blessed Virgin Mary, so loving and sweet, to plant a kiss of divine love on your brow.

My visits to Gerard's blog & website were always enriching. His gentle and loving Christian heart never failed to lift my spirits!

My condolences to all his family and friends.

As a regular reader of Gerard's blog and his site, I profited immensely from his gentleness, wisdom and insights. May the Most Merciful God grant him eternal rest and consolation to his family through Jesus Christ.

I have been feeling quite stunned the past few days after hearing the sad news that Gerard is no longer with us. Each day the first thing I did was to find his place on the web for spiritual sustenance . His words of love, grace and beauty became as real and vital for me as food and drink. We are all much poorer now without him. I hope that his family will see fit to keep his blog going on --like a bright shining beam of light among the sinister shadows of cyberspace. May his beautiful soul...

Dear Peggy,
I was saddened at the passing of Gerry. Though I haven't seen much of him since the North East days, he has always retained a warm spot in my heart. Condolences to you and the family. May he rest in peace.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Gerard's death. He has enriched so many of us through his marvelous works on the web. May he rest in eternal peace! Our prayers are with all his family and friends.

Dear Family of Gerard;
Gerard took the best trip he could. He is home. He can let us know whether they have Mozart in heaven. I'm looking forward to that! He was convinced. I was sure of Bach....but he was sure of Mozart. Ave Verum Corpus will always now remind me of Gerry. He introduced me to other friends: von Balthasar, de Lubac, Guardini, McNabb, John of the Cross, Davey and Sheldon VanAuken....and so much more. We shared his beloved rose "rosary". I had sent him the roses because...

Dear Peggy and Bill, Gerry, Moose and I were best friends at St. Marys. He has been in my heart for 50 years. No need to tell you of his incredible love and generosity of spirit. There is so much I could say. Suffice it to say that the conduit of love between us and the Creator has become that much stronger now that Gerry has something to do with it.
