Not sure what to say?

Father Dorgan was loved by many of the Holy Class of '54 s

"Fr. have you been reading your Emily"? While ashamedly I hadn't been reading my Emily, I recalled our independent study of Emily Dickinson many years earlier in 1989 and was moved that Fr. Dorgan had room in his busy mind to recall those few hours as well. Just a few weeks ago I remembered Fr. Dorgan to a young cashier named Emily, recommending to her the magnificent poet with whom she shared a name, and left the market appreciating the simple ways special people leave indelible prints in...

I was privileged to know Fr. Dorgan during some of his years at St. Mary's . He went to the bedside of a number of people at hospitals and nursing homes on a moments notice, some I knew but he had never seen before. He gave everything in a great desire to see others recieved into the kingdom of God.He loved being a priest and had a special joy about him. He was the best priest, kind. loving and compassionate and also very intelligent . It was an honor to be in his presence and see him...

I light this candle in memory of the "light" you were to so many here on earth!

a wonderfully kind and and holy priest. May he rest n God's peaceful embrace.

I have such wonderful memories of listening to Father Dorgan share the Good News. He was kind, intelligent, and loved a good laugh. He never tired of listening to others and doing all that he could to share God's word and love. He truly made a difference in my life. Well done, good and faithful servant!

Father Dorgan was the best man I knew. He was kind and truly cared about others around him. He will truly be missed in the Saint Mary's community.

Father Dorgan was a kind and gentle soul. He was always busy but never too busy if you needed a moment with him. He truly put all others before him. I loved his homilies and how he incorporated his love of art into them. I'd like to think he is now in heaven discussing art with the actual artists. I'll never forget the time I witnessed him on his knees washing the feet of parishioners for Holy Thursday and the impact it had on me. He was and is a true servant of God. May God rest his...

Fr. Dorgan was a genuinely holy priest, a wise and compassionate minister, a wonderful preacher, and a lover of God and God's people. May he rest eternally in God's embrace!
