I had the pleasure of working with Jerry Harrigan as Right of Way Inspectors for the City of Glendale's Engineering Department in the late '90s. Jerry was a gentleman and a professional to all who worked with him. He loved wearing his Baltimore Orioles ballcap with great pride to work every day. As a transplanted New Yorker, I would tease him of how the lowly Amazin' Mets beat his heavily favored O's in the 1969 World Series. He had a great sense of humor.
