Read MoreI just came across Jerry´s obituary without knowing that he had passed 15 years ago. He had been my dentist during the years that I ran a business right across the street from his office. One time I shattered a tooth and called the office, but he was not in at the time. He called me back from home and came right in to take care of me. He was a great friend and I have never forgotten him.

I was so sorry to learn recently of Dr. Jernegan's death. Thanks to him, my opinion of dentists did a 180. Not only was he the "no pain" dentist, Dr. Jernegan also had a wonderful way with his patients and staff. Such a great sense of humor -- he will be missed by many.
