Not sure what to say?

To the family and friends who's lives Jerry touched:

I was deeply saddened to learn of Jerry's passing. I too am a graduate of Hawthorne College ( Class of 80). While I was a year behind Jerry, as a fellow athelete we became good friends over the 3 years we were student athelete together. In fact we were dormitory suite mates during Jerry's senior year (yeah that was fun). The testimonials of Jerry's prowess on the basketball court are certainly justified. While time and...

Although we have been a nextdoor neighbor for nearly 2 years, we never got to know Jerry due to his illness. We are sad about that because it is apparent that he would have been a great neighbor and a good friend. We are blessed to know Debbie, and the kids. They are wonderful people and great neighbors. We hope and pray that they remain strong and continue to be the wonderful people that they are. It is a fact that Jerry's passing will be a great loss to all that have known him and to all...

On behalf of myself and my family I would like to offer our sincere sympathy to your family. Most of us did not know Jerry but we did know that he worked hard with the group on the Kreul Classic. We are very thankful for his contribution. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Leola Kreul and family

I've seen how hard this has been on you all. Even though we all expected it, it's still hard to accept when it happens. This is a poem that was given to me and I thought of you all when reading it.

God looked around his Garden and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon his earth and saw your loving face.
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.
His Garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best.

My deepest sympathy for Shannon , Sean and Mrs. Kelly. I am so sorry for your loss. I never got the previlage to meet him but i'm sure he was a good man and father

Love ya always n forever

I was so sorry to learn of Jerry's passing. I was Jerry's basketball coach his senior year at Hawthorne College. His teammates elected Jerry as captain to start the year and I chose him as MVP following a great season. Jerry was a pleasure to coach. He had a tremendous love and enthusiasm for the game. He was a hard worker who led by example. He had a kind heart. I never heard him say a bad word about anyone.

I have fond memories of that 1978-79 Hawthorne team. Just two weeks...

Deepest synpathy from a college friend. We partied and enjoyed the college life together. A good man.

My best to your family,
Bruce Beyor, Class of 77
