1 an que tu nous as quitte et nous pensons toujours a toi, ce n'est qu'un au revoir gerard

Dear Becky, I am saddened about the passing of Gerard. We have not been in touch in a few years but I was thinking about him today when I came across a picture of Lauren riding Aquila. He had a great connection with the children. We had laughs when I would make him practice his French and he would tease me about my French-Canadian accent. I know you will miss him dearly. All of our sympathies to you, David and your beautiful family.

We very were fortunate to have a man with such unparalleled equine expertise in our area. Our daughter knew how to ride but he taught her how to have a good seat, fostered her knowledge of horses and brought her to a new level of horsemanship. I also truly appreciate that he taught the at-risk youth we brought to the farm discipline and respect through horses. He was a true asset and valued member of the community whose absence will be deeply felt and missed.
