Not sure what to say?

Rosemary and family, We are so thankful we had the opportunity to meet your father and spend the evening with him. His love for the Lord and others, and his attitude of joy and thankfulness were so evident. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love, Jim and Pam

Bob, Kathy and Mary Rose...our heartfelt sympahty to you during this time. Your father's eternal life has begun...praise God! We are so sorry that we will be out of town and miss the services. May God grant you strength.

We will surely miss Grandpa Gerry.Gabrielle enjoyed visiting with him and sort of adopted him as a surrogate grandpa. What a pleasure he was to visit with. An interesting and wonderful human being. God is surely blessed to have him home with no more pain and suffering. I'm sure there was a grand reunion with his beloved wife and we look forward to the day we meet again! Our love to your family at this difficult time. Love, Anthony,Sally and Gabby

Rosemary and family,
My deepest sympathy to you at this time.
That is a very nice obituary, especially about his devotion to the Lord. Now he is in eternity with our loving Father forever! I'll never forget him coming in to C.M., always having a smile on his face, and seeing the love he had for your mom and his family. Praying that the Lord brings you comfort during this difficult time.
God bless~

Mr. Melato never seized to amaze us! He brought such joy just being in his presence. His love for the Lord was so apparent and the light of the Lord shone so brightly around him. Just seeing him would make us want to smile. After reading his life story, it made us realize just how great a man he was but it also came with no surprises. There is no doubt that he is now enjoying eternity in heaven in the presence of God. Rosemary & Bob, you are so blessed to have such wonderful memories. ...

When I think of Uncle Jerry, I think of him "then and now" - through my early perceptions as a kid and now, as an adult. Growing up, I saw Uncle Jerry on his visits to Brooklyn and Long Island - and occasionally on our family's visits to York. Whatever the setting, he was totally in his element and delighted in the "3 F's"- family, food and fun. All three were in plentiful supply! He just reveled in all of it. As an adult, all of my early impressions were still true, but now, what made an...

Gerry was such a blessing to everyone at church! His gentle spirit and positive attitude were an encouragement to all who came in contact with him. He will be missed but we rejoice that his suffering has ended and his heavenly reward has begun.

Robert, Kathy, Rosemary, Bob, Marilyn, Gerard and family,
I was so sorry to hear of your father's passing. Both he and your mother were so special to me and I have many fond memories visiting with them and hearing of all of your lives and their adventures. I can tell you, family was their truest source of pride and they were so proud of each and every one of you. I know how the loss is painful but think about his reuniting with your mother as a source of comfort. This is what helped...

It was an honor to meet Mr. Melato recently. He was certainly a great story teller with a wonderful wit and sensitively. He recongnised that his life was drawing to a close and had no regrets. He expressed his love of his family and thankfulness for their care. Please accept my condonlences at this time.
