Here's to the memory of my little buddy, Gerard Parker! We knew each other not for a long time, but, for a good time! I will remember him always. May he continue to rest in peace!

I send my sincere condolences to Gerard's family. My mother worked with Gerard's aunt and he was the first person I met at Howard University. He was a kind, welcoming young man and his presence here will be missed. I hope you are able to find solace in the fact that his light made the world a little brighter and his memory will live on.
