I grew up in Ridgewood and Gerard was a childhood friend. We played together on Madison St. May God bless him and his family and friends.

Gerry was a very good friend of mine for several years. Eventually we even became boyfriend and girlfriend. I think about him often. I feel so sad that his life was cut so short. He was a gentle soul and had a special place in my life. I want to send my condolences to the Rauzi family. I think about him often. I sometimes look at old photographs of him and can't believe he is gone. I know it has been over ten years now, but it seems like yesterday. My thoughts are with you.

Dear Nancy,
I had the pleasure of meeting your brother while working at the office of Dr.Patrick Sheehan, his dentist and yours. He was a very gentle and kind person and I recall him telling me your mother was going to Italy. I spoke with him only two days before 9/11. I will always remember him and you on this horrific day that changed all our...

Fresh out of college, I worked at 2 World Trade Center with the New York State Department of Taxation & Finance with Jerry. We were divided into teams. Jerry was part of my team. We got along perfectly. We used to go for drinks after work and enjoyed working together and we had a competitive edge between each other and betted on who was able to the get the most money for the state during the audits. In the year 1983 I quit working for the State of New York and became self employed. Yet, I...

Not sure if Gerard's family look at this anymore. But I went to NY for the first time in 2009. I stopped at the world trade center memmorial and bought a bracelet for my husband. the bracelets have the names of the people who died on 9/11. My husbands bracelet has Gerard Rauzi. His family is always in our prayers.
