It was with great sadness that I learned of the passing of Judge Ring. I clerked for him in 1985 through 1986, and appeared before him numerous times. He was a good and fair judge, but more importantly, he was a great guy. He always had a kind word for you, had a great sense of humor, and he made you feel like someone ever time you interacted with him. My condolences to the family. I will forever keep a good thought about Judge Ring, a truly good and decent human being. The world needs more...
