What a beautiful tribute to an amazing man who was a gift to us all, even those of us who knew him only from afar and not in person.

To me and to so many, Gerardo Marín embodied all the best elements of what draws us to USF - deep internationality solidarity, profound commitment to diversity, and authentic ethical relationships. He had the great gift of making many people (like me) feel as if we shared a special bond with him - which is why his loss is so painful.
