Not sure what to say?

When remembering Aunt Gerda, I have to smile. She & Uncle Spud often visited Strasburg on Sundays. As with Gramma Olga, Gerda made me feel like a giant since I have always been so tall & the Swiss gals were little short gals. Back in those days, I never heard Gerda's name without Spud. They were a team. My sympathy goes out to the family. May the memories shared bring smiles to your faces.

I really loved my Aunt Gerda. She and Uncle Spud were always in my thoughts and prayers. I wish I could have seen them both much more and gotten to know them as I grew into an adult. I have missed them very much. My condolences to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, with love and respect, Fred.

Aunt Gerda always seemed to enjoy life so much. I remember her and Uncle Spud always smiling and laughing. I won't forget visiting Aunt Gerda and Uncle Spud when visiting Grandma Olga during summers growing up. We used to go into the chicken coop and rile up the birds, which always got Spud riled up too!

Gerda, may you be graced by God's welcoming arms into heaven.
