Not sure what to say?

What a way to find out who your great grandfather is

I just found out he is my great grandfather and I never got to meet him. I am sad I never got to meet him but I am very proud of what he has done for the world.

Gerry Andlinger was the kindest , most charismatic person with the biggest heart. No need to impress or time for pretense he adored his wife and young sons. He made the world a better place and I feel fortunate to have known him . He.will always be remembered!

Jeanne, only heard about this yesterday; so very sorry for your loss. Mr. A was a wonderfully sweet person. He will be missed.

Lighting a candle this moment.
Our deep condolences to you, Jeanne, Tristan, and all of Gerry's kin. His everloving soul and contributions to humanity are etched in his golden book of life.
We shared many meaningful conversations and I was always touched by his faith and compassion in action!
Our lives are blessed from knowing all of you.
May you be comforted....love and warm hugs....
Edie, Patrick & Paddy

Jeanne-my love and hugs to you for the loss of Gerry. My mother is looking down on you with much sympathy and care. You were her favorite. Marshall and I are so sorry. His support and development at Princeton was substantial and truly valuable. Marshall watched it through Princeton news. You must be very proud of his work. We will be thinking of you. Much love.

I have not had the pleasure of knowing a more generous and warm individual. May he rest in peace with the fulfillment of making this world a better place.
Peter McNaughton

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Nikki, Rusty, and Vail on the loss of a truly wonderful father and grandfather. May you find comfort in thinking of the many lives he touched through his passion for charitable work, and through the amazing legacy he leaves behind. We're thinking of you all during this sad time.

To the Andlinger Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
