Not sure what to say?

Dr. Cibis, you are truly missed You were amazing at your 'CRAFT' You touched the hearts of many simply with your kindness. May you continue to rest peacefully

I only recently learned of Dr. Cibis passing, my condolences to his family and loved ones. I was a patient of his when I was a child and he performed several eye surgeries on me over the years. He was a good man and doctor and I still have fond and vivid memories of my visits to the eye doctor after probably 30+ years gone by. My eyes are still straight from the work he did and that has had a significant impact through my life to this very day.

To the family of Gerhard Cibis, I am so sorry of his passing. I just found out today, hence my late condolences. My daughter was a patient of his at eleven months, and I appreciated his direct manner and his staff. Rest in peace, Dr Cibis.

Always personable and always professional--a great and rare combination. Miss you my friend. jb

Remembering Gerhard on this two-year anniversary of his passing - sending love to you, Doreen!

He was the best eye dr i have had. Thank you Dr C. My prayers go out to his family and thoes who worked with him

I had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Cibis and recovering his patients at Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City. He was also the surgeon for my granddaughter for an eye condition. She was 18 months at the time of her surgery and will soon be 10 years old. I made sure she knew who Dr. Cibis was and will share this obituary with her as well. Dr. Cibis has taken care of many patients who I am sure have appreciated his services. He will be missed by many!Condolences to his family.

I am truly saddened at his loss, he has been my doctor since 1982, and has shown me great comfort, and compassion. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Dr. Cibis has been our sons doctor for almost 16 years. We are blessed to have had him in our lives and appreciate his expertise and talent. Our sons (and family) will miss his consistent skill and peace of mind that came with his talent. The boys will also miss the stories of his swim days that he shared with them during their office visits. He always made a point to ask them how things were going with school and this sport that he too once practiced as a teenager. Our condolences to the...
