GERHARD GOHN Obituary

Gerhard, age 85 went to be with the lord on Friday, December 6, 2013. He was born on November 6, 1928. He immigrated to Canada in 1951, where he met his beloved wife. They were married in 1955, had three children; Peter, Walter, and Linda. In 1965 he brought his family to Fresno, where he worked for the Fresno Bee for over 35 years. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, passion for the outdoors, and love for his family. He is survived by his wife, Erika Gohn; three children; seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at Peace Lutheran Church, 4672 N. Cedar Ave., on Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. Remembrances may be made to Peace Lutheran Church, 4672 N. Cedar Ave., Fresno, Ca. 93726; or Hinds Hospice, 1616 W. Shaw, Ave. Ste. A-5, Fresno, Ca. 93711.
