Not sure what to say?

Jim, Jamie, Jerod and Jenny.....Ty recently forwarded me, what I assume is the eulogy that Jamie presented at Geri's memorial service. I was so touched by his words. I missed so much of Geri's later years, but this gave me the opportunity to know her as a wife, mother and grandmother. I sensed that she was very much like Mamma Mae, and I always loved Mamma Mae's Southern, ladylike manner. We continue to think of you as a family in your loss, but what a wonderful legacy she has left...

I am still shocked at the news of Geri's passing. It's been many years since I last saw her, but will always remember how sweet and loving she was. My greatest memory is when she served as flower girl for my wedding in l955. So beautiful in her pretty little white dress and dark curls. Her brother, Ty, was at her side as ring bearer. What a beautiful picture I have of them!
For Jim and the family, I'm sorry we have never met, but I have heard such wonderful things about all of you from...

I will always remember you as that sweet little niece of mine with the gracious smile that must have carried through to your adulthood.
So pleased we recently made e-mail contact after so many years without being in touch.
My condolences to all of those who shared your short time on Gods earth.

We were shocked and saddened by the loss of Geri. Norma always told me what a special loving family Geri had. I'm not surprised because she was such a sweet person. We send our condolences and love to all of you. Geri's cousin, Sandra.

You will be greatly missed by everyone that ever came in contact with you. It was my honor to have known you and coach while I was stationed in Ft. Worth.

Dodie, what a wonderful person you were. Amanda & I enjoyed every basketball game and every meal shared with you. You took us and made us friends. You will be missed. May God bring comfort to your family in the days to come. I heard a song the other day that reflects the way I see your life. It's a country and western song called " I am Blessed " My thoughts and prayers are with you.
