Germaine Marie Foster

Dear family of my ole shipmate Germaine Cilento. Germaine & I served in the U.S. Navy Nurse Corps together in Okinawa, Japan. We made many memories together with Navy Colleagues at many Navy & Marine Corps social gatherings. I just learned of her passing on a recent Navy Nurse Corps Reunion Cruise & so saddened that she left her family & her Navy family way to soon. Grief and pain that come with death can be difficult to bear. Sometimes the comfort that we need comes from those who love us. It may also be found in words such as these. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. The fulfillment of these words will bring an end to all grief and sorrow. It will be a blessed time for all.

Germaine was an inspiration and encouragement to me as a woman who loved her Savior fervently. She will be greatly missed.
