Your booth at Shelley's will forever seem empty no matter who fills it and your wit and warmth will be greatly missed. Those of us lucky enough to have known you will cherish that great big smile of yours in our hearts forever.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

My deepest condolences go out to Mary and her family for their loss.

So very sorry to hear about Garrit. I cannot think of anyone that made me laugh like he did. Now he can be full of health and the angels have their hands full. Truel a great man.

It can be so hard to face the first year without your loved one, but the love of family and friends can carry you through.

I still find it hard to believe that you are gone.. You will be missed terribly by all that knew you.. You have been apart of my family's life for as long as I can remember.. I am sure the heavens are already smiling knowing they have received such a jokester.. You rest in peace Uncle Gerrit, now that you are no longer in pain. Know that your family here is loved by many and they will be well taken care of.. We love you and will always remember how you have touched our lives...
