Not sure what to say?

When Gerry & Denise and Joy & I lived in Eugene OR. Gerry and I worked and played and goofed off a lot. We coulda, shoulda almost drowned in the river once and I will re-live that over & over. I always thought Gerry and I had a special relationship and a unique shared sense of humor. Most everybody felt that with Gerry. Had Gerry and I lived in the same town the last twenty yrs. I am sure we would have been best of friends.
2 COR. 5:8 We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be...

every time i remember he is gone from us, i can't believe it and i am overwhelmed with deep sadness. but just a few weeks ago, we were laughing together! life ends with such a shock sometimes. Gerry was so big in his heart & so humble, i never knew anyone else like him. i was so privaleged to be related to him. i will mourn him and miss him til i see him again on The Last Day, when Jesus comes for us. love you so much, sister.

To my dear daughter & her family - I loved Gerry; he was like another son to me. His generous heart, his sense of humor, and knowing that even tho I was his "mother-in-law" he loved me, too. He wasn't judgemental when some of my family was - always willing do to me a favor with no questions asked. Your life and home will be empty without him; and I surely will miss him, too. I like to think he's with Dad now; and someday we will be, too. "Mom"

Dear Denise,
Gerry was such a wonderful uncle. I feel blessed to have had him in my life. You and him both have done so much for me. The biggest thing I remember about Gerry is that he was so unjudgmental and I felt I could tell him anything and he'd still love me. He will be missed! God will be your comfort and it will get easier. I love you!!

Hi Denise, I was sad to hear about Jerry. He is with the Lord and that is such a comfort. As you know Steve went home 6 years ago so I know what you are experiencing. Knowing the Lord is such a comfort. If there is anything you need or just want to talk call me. You can reach me at work at UGH in the ER. I will be praying for you and your family.

Howdy Denise,
First of all, congratulations on your long and successful marriage. Second of all , I'm so sorry it was cut alot shorter than you both had hoped for. Take care, you and your children, and I know you will find comfort in all the memories and rewards in being together all those wonderful years. Love, Donna

Dear Mrs. Good,

I was so shocked and saddened to hear about Gerry's passing. He was a wonderful person with a great sense of humor. My prayers are with you and your family.
