Gerry and I grew up together in the same neighborhood. We did a lot of hunting and fishing together in our younger days. Recently we got back in touch with one another and he made a couple trips up to my camp in Iron River. We fished places we did when we were young kids. Last Fall when he came, we walked in the woods reminising about the old days. What a great friend he was and will always be to me. Our sympathy to you Ann and the rest of the family. I grew up across the street from Gerry. It was such a blessing to watch him grow up, a handsome, carefree man. I will cherish those memories. My sympathy to those left behind. Jack Winquist

I'll never forget when Uncle Gerry asked me if I knew how a crow lands on a fence.....he squeezed above my knee so hard with both his hands! He was such a jokester!

So sorry for your loss. I will remember Gerry as being such a character. When I would stop by Conway to see my husband Mark - he would holler out "everybody guard your wallets." Such a funny man. He will be missed.
