Not sure what to say?

To The Family of Mr. Myers,
My son, Chris, went to St. Clement from the 4th to the 8th grades. I remember talking with Mr. Myers on the front steps.I asked him if he had any children? His answer was "these are all my children". He knew no strangers and was a great principal. His journey came to an end and now he walks in God's world.
With sympathy and prayers in this time of sorrow,
Sue Leeds and Chris Leeds

"A butterfly lights beside us,...

I remember Gerry as a fellow student at St. Clement. What a lively guy! I can still see him keeping all the boys in stitches on the bus to Coney Island for the servers picnic. Neat to see how many folks he touched later in his work as principal.

I notice your prayer book right there with the cell phone. Working hard, in the Spirit of Francis. Peace my great great friend.

RIP Mr. Myers. Simply put, you were the greatest. I didn't realize this until well after you were my teacher as your lessons became more valuable over time. It was awesome to randomly meet fellow students in college who were from St. Bernard/Norwood/any other area you may have taught who also held you in such high regard. You will be missed but your legacy will be treasured.

If anyone ever had a doubt about how influential your time on earth was, all they need to do is read a few pages here. To the "Original Knight!!!" We are all better for having known you and had you in ours and and our children's lives! Thank you for being an example on how to be a true Christian through the love support and giving you share with so many. We will keep spreading the good news

Mr. Myers, You touched so many lives in a truly remarkable way. You had such a positive influence on children, one of the most important jobs we have. So sad to hear this news. Rest in Peace

I will always regret leaving graduation without bothering to say goodbye to you. You were truly everyone's guardian angel. You did your best to protect each and every student. Heck, you even bought me lunch when I shadowed at St. Nicholas, just to make sure I felt accepted. I know you wanted to make whatever school you happened to be in a better place for the community and especially the students. If anyone in the future asks me who my favorite principal was, I will most definitely say: "Mr....

One of the nicest most compassionate people we ever met. RIP, you deserve it. My entire family is very sad but we know you are singing in heaven with the other angels.

Gerry, your music touched my heart deeply at St. Francis Seraph, so deeply that Scott and I wanted you to sing and play our wedding. You graciously accepted, trekked out to the country and played under the trees and open sky. Your music soared. May you fill heaven with your gifts that we all have had the privilege of witnessing. Every time I hear the Litany of the Saints, I think of you!
