Gertrud was a long time friend and letter correspondent with my mother Georgia Ruehrwein. They had a friendship that about 50 years. And, once upon a time (the 1960's) we were neighbors on Beaurgard Terrace. You have our deepest sympathy.

So sorry to her about Gertrud's passing, she was a very kind person, I worked at Spalding with Gertrud and Arleen, my sympathies to the family.

So many happy childhood memories of spending time with my Auntie Sassi. I cherish every one of those memories fondly. To me she was the most remarkable person on the face of this earth. Love and sympathy to you all.

So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I will always remember her sewing in the dinning area. She made all of your gowns for Adele's wedding, I even used that same dress for a prom. Life is just too short sometimes, why do we have to grow old? Love you all, Tammy
