Gertrude M. "Trudi" Alagero

I found out about Trudi today, since I am in a nonprofit organization called Project 351. Every year we do a 9/11 Service Project. This year I am making a rock and flower tribute garden in my community. Reading about Trudi was so touching. I will attach photos later of the rocks me and my friends paint in memory of her with the completed garden.

I never met you...I ordered a 9/11 memorial bracelet with a random name on it and my person was Gertrude M Alagero. So I have never forgotten you. May you rest in peace.

Trudi, I never met you but your story has been a part of all of our lives now for 20 years, and will be forever. To us you are no stranger. God bless you.

Remembering Gertrude on the 20th anniversary of 9/11....

I was only 6 years old when Trudi passed away. I loved her very much; to this day she was the kindest soul I have ever come across. I have one vivid memory of her that I hold onto; she was at my house growing up, we were picking out flower girl dresses for me to wear at her and my uncle's wedding. I was sitting on her lap at the kitchen table and she was helping me put on these clip on earrings. I was so content and felt so beautiful after she put these on. I have not idea where these...

Sending our sincere condolences to your family. Daily may God continue to give the strength needed as you try to cope. Trudi will always be remembered. May acts of violence like these that separate loved ones finally come to an end.
