Not sure what to say?

She was one of my daughter's adopted grandmas, living just a couple of houses away from us in SeaTac Washington. I didn't know her well, but knew my daughter was safe and happy visiting "Mrs. Budds" as she called her. Such a wonderful, loving neighbor.

I will never forget Mrs. Butts, I grew up down the street from her in Seatac, WA and she always had kind words and a ton of patience. I remember going over there and helping in her beautiful garden, having the occasional tea party (with juice and snickerdoodles) or just going over to say hi and playing with her dogs. I consider myself very lucky and blessed to have known her. My condolences go out to family and friends and I pray that God will help you to get through this difficult time....

I have numerous memories growing up one house down from Grandma Butts! Such a warm person, she asked the kids in our neighborhood to call her Grandma. She had so much patience and love for children. Our family moved in when I was 4...she moved away when I was about 18. I remember our many conversations on her front porch, going for walks with her and her cocker spaniels, her beautiful flowers that she tended, picking fruit, going to church with her. She was blessed with a beautiful family...

I cannot imagine having a better mother! I am so thankful to know that my mom has gone on to a better place--I keep thinking of the scripture where Jesus said, "I go to prepare a place for you that where I am you shall be also." My mom is in that place and I am so thankful and honored to have had her for a mother on this earth.

To all of Jean's family, so sorry to hear of Jean's death. She was a true friend to my Mom, Mary Gjerset. I remember many laughs with your Mom. I'm glad that now Jean and Mom can go hiking and cross country skiing together again! Lots of memories and prayers sent your way.

Grandma, Thanks for all the memories! I was so lucky to have you for my grandmother! I will think of you every time I take my kids to the newest Disney movie, head to the mountains to go skiing or just going to Starbucks! I love you & miss you so much already!

She was a wonderful woman. I have many fond memories of visiting with her, our shopping trips, and dancing to "Achy Breaky Heart"!

Cathy and Linda, I am so very sorry to hear of Jean's death. I have so many warm memories of times with her. She was always so warm and welcoming. I remember putting up wallpaper, little dogs running around our feet, making plum jam and opening my wedding presents in her livingroom. She always had a quick smile and a warm welcome. I will miss her, too. Love to you both.

May you rest in peace as you are now an angel with the Lord. You will always be loved and missed.
