Not sure what to say?

Larry, Helen and family, so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. You all are in our thoughts and prayers.

I knew her better through stories than I did myself, but I never turned down an opportunity to visit. I still remember one of my first memories of her, I could hardly understand her accent! Such a loving woman, and while I am sad I will not be able to visit her in this life again, I will continue to visit her in my memories. I hope we may notice her smile brighten our days from up above in her reunion with great grandpa. She raised some beautiful souls in this life, I am happy to know hers...

Grandmom overaker was an amazing woman..she loved her grandchildren as well as her great grand children and step great grandchildren...a truly beautiful woman to all who knew her

Knowing her for almost 50 years, she always made me feel like one of her own. She was always happy and loving. Judy may have married into our family years ago...but we kept her and now we're in her family...Love you

Knowing her for almost 50 years, she was always happy and loving. She always made me feel like one of her own. Judy may have married into our family years ago, but we kept her and we will always be one family. Love you all

I visited Gertrude at Brookshire with my dog regularly in the past five years. She was a special person whose positive attitude encouraged me. Even when she was very weak in her last days, she had a beautiful smile. My condolences to all the family.

Larry & family, I am so sorry to hear about your mom. Please know you are in our hearts & our thoughts and our prayers. Love always, The Family of Carlton Wynne ( Linda, Ken & Reid)

I met Mrs Overaker when I was in the 8th grade and was at a sleepover with her daughter Judy. She was a kind loving mother.

Family, I am the grandson of Ida Mae Overaker Jackson and Lee Jackson. Her obituary reads just like most people in Orange and Durham county back in the day and carried on thru their lives. My grandparents were the same way. Always loving and caring. My condolences sent your way.
